Beginning Days

A relatively new church, CityLight International Assembly held its first service on February 20th, 2005. It is presently undergoing a phase of foundation building with a strong focus on raising a people that will extend the kingdom of God through the five biblical purposes of the church which are:

- Ministry
- Evangelism
- Fellowship
- Worship
- Discipleship

We are committed to raising lights and inspiring and influencing people to live a maximized life.

Our Pastors

The ministry of Gregory Lanre Ijiwola began at an early age, when in August 1990 he heard the voice of God that he was called to devote his life to the ministry. In response to this call he consecrated himself and that began a journey of destiny. Ever since then, from high school through college and subsequently, he has served in different capacities in several ministries fulfilling such roles as Pastor, Associate Pastor and Teacher.

Responding to the instruction of God to pioneer a church that would nurture people into maximized living, he and his wife, Debo, who serves alongside with him are the Founding Pastors of the CityLight International Assembly.

A publisher and author, Pastor Lan is the CEO of Summit House Publishers and the author of the book, "Just Before You Say I Do: A Roadmap for Singles." They reside in Zion, Illinois with their sons, Jesse and Joshua.
